Who We Are
Founded in 2008, the Grand Lake Yacht Club Sailing Foundation promotes
local, national and international amateur sailing, maritime education and
competition.
Through the support of generous donations, the GLYC Sailing Foundation
provides grant dollars as well as organizes it's own events each year.
Programs include community outreach, youth sailing education,
sailing equipment and facility provision, competition sponsorship,
and sailing programs for the handicapped and disabled.

The Grand EM Project is Sailing Along
In memory and honor of Ella Mae Sutherland, the Grand EM Project
is the primary 2009 fundraiser for the GLYC Sailing Foundation.
To date we have raised more than $50,000 from a growing list of donors.
